South Asia Defence & Strategic Review is a leading publication on matters related to Defence and Strategy, Internal Security and Military Technology. A bi-monthly publication, the magazine was launched in Mar 2007 and has gained steadily in stature and credibility. It has already secured a large subscription and readership base in the entire SA region and rest of the world. Col A K Sharma, a former cavalry officer, edits the magazine. He sought to leave the Indian Army early after a successful career spanning 28 years, acquiring several professional, technical and academic qualifications and holding challenging assignments, a part of the career in the Army.
The Editorial Board consists of eminent personalities from all walks of life. HE Sh NN Vohra, Governer of J&K was the first advisor of the board which consisted of eminent personalities like Dr K Santhanam, Amb C Shekhar Dasgupta, Lt Gen S K Sharma (Retd) and Air Marshal SK Malik. Lt Gen JP Singh, former Deputy Chief of the Indian Army and Lt Gen Ata Hasnain, former GOC 15 Corps and a luminary in Geostrategic affairs and Military matters currently advise the magazine’s editorial committee. Our foreign contributors include Brig. Gen. Alain Lamballe from France, Mariam Safi from Kabul and R Madugalle from Sri Lanka.
The Editorial Team consists of defence experts including Col Prabudh Sharma and Chander Malhotra. R Chandrashekhar with his immense knowledge acts as the Consulting Editor.

Defstrat Books is our latest venture dealing with Military Books. Our first two publications got off to a flying start, selling all printed copies. We now plan to expand the field to include more subjects and accomplished authors.
